UPMC Aiken Parking Garage

Well in a short period of time the parking went from $9 for the full day to $22 for the full day. I do not understand the 2.5 times increase of the parking rate. Since it is for a hospital, I feel charging people that are visiting people in the hospital or like me receiving treatment for cancer this new outrageous rate is just unacceptable. I guess Shadyside Hospital wants to make even more money. The visibility of this increase is just that. We will make as much money as possible off as many people as possible at any cost. We will increase the charge of the parking garage by 250% because we can and we know you do not have many options to choose from when it comes to parking. Well just get used to the sticker shock since you do not have many options. This is a terrible look for you UPMC.

Easy to get in and out. Cost was very reasonable for surgery and discharge days

Its a parking garage, theres spaces to park your vehicle. If you have a lifted truck it might not fit.

What's not to love ? Free parking. People who go to the hospital usually have enough trouble, visiting a loved one, or perhaps sick themselves. This can be a great convenience. One less thing to worry about.

In was to many spaces for employees. Patient have to go up 3 level than bach down to hospital than walk to far to get help.
