If you don't read this whole review just know this is an A+ company. Our radon levels were over 8 and are now at just 0.5! Thanks Hyrum and Eli. The great experience started with the first phone call. They scheduled a free short initial appointment where we reviewed options. I called two other radon services and those companies wanted to charge for an initial appointment. Both did get me estimates and were competitive but couldn't actually say with any confidence on if my install could be done externally where Utah radon defence could because they came to my home. They were willing to come to the house to evaluate how to install the system and answer all our questions and resolve all our concerns. Their quote was fair and detailed. The installers were also professional, did a walkthrough before starting and ensured we were all on the same page before work started. Their work was excellent and they did exactly what they said they would do. We purchased a radon monitor and the levels have come down to the safe level. All of the people we interacted with were great. Highly recommend this company.

They came and assessed our home and discussed various approaches. They provided bids for different options that were competitive with bids from other vendors. They did a great job. The installation is unobtrusive and effective. Previous closed-window levels were around 5 to 6. (measured using a 3-day test in January 2025 and tracked since using an Aranet radon monitor). We found that with some basement windows open we could maintain 2 to 3. During the three weeks since installation, average closed-window levels have been consistently a little under 1. Very pleased with the outcome.

He sealed many large cracks in our basement as part of the service and answered all my questions professionally (I had a lot of questions). Fast forward to now, our fan was not working- it was covered under warranty and Hyrum came out to fix it. He was very upbeat and professional and quickly fixed the issue. This company was more affordable than many others I contacted when we had it installed and we are very happy we chose them.
