Valley & Bloom Garage (Propark)

I pulled in to park at 8:57pm. The sign says for public parking, go to the 6th floor. I go to the 5th floor. Although, I could not proceed to the 6th floor because it was blocked off. I go to leave and it’s 9:05 pm. I was charged $4.99 just to try and leave when there was no parking available. The 5th floor is reserved for Valet parking only. And I cannot park on the other floors as well. I called the customer service line and was hung up on at least 5 times. I was informed the grace period was 7 minutes. It takes that long just to go up and down from level one. One customer service representative said she would open the gate. Although, that never happened. I sat at the exit gate until 9:22pm trying to get out. I was forced to pay the $4.99 just to come in and leave with no parking availab

Very wide and very dark. Difficult to read the signs. They falsely advertise Tesla supercharger and wasted my time. Usually the public garages offer the first 15 mins, I feel like this establishment is making up their own rules because for a place that big and they only give you 7 mins for free is so unrealistic. I feel like I got robbed 5 dollars and I was only there for 8 mins.

The basics of parking work fine. But 1) $27 for overnight parking seems kind of expensive, but given the MC Hotel charges $45 for valet parking and Montclair doesn't allow overnight parking on the street, a visitor is stuck paying this much, 2) the payment machines are finicky, not working with some credit cards or not printing receipts, and 3) there are constantly gas cars parked in EV charger spots (see pics), so either management doesn't care or those are managements' cars.

Negative reviews if possible. Likely wont renew my lease simply due to how bad this garage is

Every time it rains outside it rains inside. , dripping an mixture of water and paint. It’s not only bad for aesthetics but also safety hazard as it blurs the windshield. It’s more than just an inconvenience now. I’ve heard the garage management tried to do some half hearted repairs, but it’s only getting worse, which reminds me of the Surf Side incident in Florida. In sum, don’t park here.
