I spoke with Claudia of Customer Service/HOP Energy. I had two areas of questions. First, I recently enrolled in paperless billing and wanted to know the process of paying my invoices. Second, I had received an email in my spam folder from DocuSign that I thought might be the executed contract of my new Price Cap Plan but nowhere was HOP or Valley Oil identified. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant. She walked me through the payment process. She asked me questions about the DocuSign email which turned out to be legitimate but nonetheless emailed me another contract directly from HOP and waited patiently while I signed it. It was a pleasure working with her.

I received a text message on Tuesday 2/24 at 6:40pm alerting me of a delivery attempt scheduled for the next day. I called and told the rep that they could not deliver because the path wasn't clear, it was pitch black, I am 73 yrs old and they had not provided me sufficient notice to clear a path. I said that I would reschedule when the path was clear. On Friday night (3 days later) I received another text at 6:40pm alerting me that a delivery was scheduled for Saturday. I AGAIN called and told the rep about the first conversation, that I would be away for the weekend and that I would call when I was ready. No sooner did I hang up the phone but I received ANOTHER TEXT informing me of a scheduled delivery for SATURDAY. On Sunday I called and got the answering service and I asked to pass on

I have been a customer for 20 years My lock in price plan expired. I was told I would have to pay $280 to secure a price.75 cents above other companies advertised price. I thought after 20 years of loyalty I should get a bit of a break. The customer service person was rude and told me I wasn't getting anything. I asked to get a delivery at the price lock price and would look at a price lock at another time. I was told an oil delivery without a price lock would be $6.49 I requested to speak with a manager She said one would call me. No one ever called im not sure how a business feels it is right to treat a customer for two decades this way. It is mind boggling to me that they remain in business. If you are looking for an oil company stay as far away from valley oil as possible.if they

Customer service... today I waited for several minutes for someone to answer the phone... no big deal... last week I called for account information because I wanted to pay off my balance. The woman last week really had no clue what she was doing, and I don't remember her name, but wow, she doesn't belong in customer service... so I waited for a week, and today I called again hoping to speak to someone who could be helpful. That did happen today. Claudia helped me get the answer I was looking for. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and Valley Oil, I will tell you, Claudia got you guys a five star rating today, because that other person, had she offered to send me an email to leave a review, I would have definitely given a one star. Good job and thank you again Claudia!
