Their Solar Powered Fresh Air Skylights are supposed to close automatically during rain - they DO NOT WORK reliably. Ours stayed open during a heavy rain after months of little to no rain. I had mine installed by a Velux certified installer - they had to reinstall them due to improper flashing at install - after the reinstall the acoustic sensors did not work consistently and there is no fault tolerance, notification of failure or follow up between Velux supplying parts and installer unless you get a rep involved - so you don’t know they are not going to work until it’s raining and they fail to close. Given the risk of water damage from an open skylight they should be able to self diagnose a failed part, have two methods of detecting rain to close, and if acoustic be adjustable for se
