Hugo is an artist when it comes to hardscaping execution. He completely transformed our front yard, and his experience and professionalism is second to none. I particularly appreciate his attention to detail; both with the initial project and with his fall clean up services, he leaves no stone unturned, and makes sure that the yard is left to a degree of cleanliness that would be difficult to emulate if I tried to do it by myself. Verano Landscaping did an excellent job on all aspects of a complex landscaping project. They implemented all aspects of a landscape design including building a retaining wall and a flagstone patio, building stone walkways, installing a water feature, installing sod and new landscape plants, installing an irrigation system and landscape lighting, building and painting a fence and gateway, and maintaining or removing existing plantings. The work was beautiful, on time, and fairly priced. At all times, Hugo and his staff were easy to communicate with and extremely reliable. Hugo was recommended by a friend, and she was absolutely spot on. We approached him with two-thirds of a plan, and he was able to show us options and explain quality and pricing until we understood exactly what was happening and what our final bill would be, so there were no surprises. He was communicative the entire time, and we were amazed at how quickly he was able to get us in; it was all completely worth it. As an extra bonus, he was able to work around baby sunflowers, keeping them alive, and he was just an overall wonderful person!
