Vern’s has been a family owned business for about 50 years or more and still is. Tanner (grandson to Vern) and Samantha are super friendly and have incredible customer service. They always put the customer first. Their products are high quality and have been proven reliable over the years. They do not cut corners to provide excellent quality products. Tanner looks younger, but looks are deceiving. Tanner has been working at Vern’s for over 15 years and he has learned from the best. I will continue to buy from Vern’s as long as they are a family owned.

Vern's is the best and only place to go for topsoil and/or all things landscaping in Kitsap County! Not only is their product top quality, but their customer service is unmatched. Additionally, they are the longest standing topsoil business around - it speaks volumes to who they are as a company. Love this family business and highly recommend buying from them!

The staff is amazing here! They are always extremely friendly and helpful. They had a new driver when I ordered a decent amount of product (42 tons of gravel and 20 yards of beauty bark). He really went out of his way to make sure we didn't have a bunch of extra work. He took his time and made sure to spread the rock the best he could; even though we had several places where the overhead clearance was tight. Zack in the office gave us great advice on which products to use. It looked much better than it would have...if we had gone with the product we originally were going to. Their prices are also reasonable.

Fabulous Family Business Supporting Kitsap!! They always give the best service. I re-soiled my entire yard and my spring flowers are the best ever! My family loves their extra fun activities too!!
