Walker Concrete of Aiken SC

I will never use again. Hired to poor a 70x43 pad. They came graded framed and poured. Upon completion, they removed the forms and left. After curing noticed that the plastic liner was in the concreted sides and folded into the concrete. They never cut the plastic down to ground and instead left it up and wrapped while pouring.. Had nails in the concrete sticking out of the concrete from where they had tacked up the plastic to the forms. Areas of the drive way started to crack when driven on due to the plastic folded over and down about and inch or so. They came and cut out 4 inches of concrete along the front edge and grind the edge.. The result is not a clean straight cut and the rounding of the sharp edge is very poor. We just moved to Aiken from TX. We called Johnny Walker concrete as we needed my husbands large shop concreted. Mr Walker came out and gave us an estimate that we felt was fair so we said, your hired... how soon can we start. He was suppose to grid it off Thursday Oct 11th. He never showed up.... we didn’t think much of it as Hurricane Michael moved in and through so we figured he wouldn’t be able to do anyway. My husband called and called. Left a couple messages, So we could find out when. it’s a simple job, we never thought he would not call us back, or not show up, or eventually not doing the job..... Just to make sure, I called him this morning and asked Mr Walker when he might be starting the job and he told me he would for sure be by this afternoon. It is now after 6 and I have not

Had Mr Walker out on March 31. He came to look at a job I wanted done. A 12 x 26 ft driveway. He measured then left and said he would call me in an hour with a quote. He never called me back. Poor business practice.
