We are looking for a full yard makeover. Grading, expanding and redoing plant beds, a patio with firepit, a new walkway, and expanding the area around our shed with gardens and paving. We tried to contact Thornton through their website, but after filling out the form on their "Contact Us" page I realized there was no send button. So we went in to speak with someone. No one was available, and they said someone would call us that day. The next afternoon, I received the call. "Rick" informed me that I only wanted a patio. Then he said "We charge a $250 fee to give a quote, our minimum job is $2,500. You're better off getting quotes from other companies. Call us if they can't help you." That was his opener. For years I've done my own landscaping and I thought it looked good, until I hired Ward + Thornton. I gave Andy my budget and his design turned out amazing thanks to a professional crew who delivered it in just two days. Truly every week since, people tell me how nice my yard looks.

They need to slow down and cut everything. They miss a lot and don’t weed. When they do weed they miss half, cut down to the ground or don’t weed at all. They need to learn to slow down and do their job right. If you can’t do this, go back to school and learn. It’s a shame we pay money for a half cut job that’s really bad. Not happy.
