Washington National Cathedral Garage (Atlantic Parking)

Worth a visit. $15 for the self tour inside

Going to the National Cathedral was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the evening evensong and the architecture of the Church. The old architecture coupled with the organ and singing were a delight. Only difficulty was that we arrived during the evensong and didn’t know where to go and what to do since we are not Episcopalian. But I’m sure if we made it during normal hours we’d be able to visit in a better manner.

Liars and cheats. Went on a Sunday, was charged $10 for "special event parking." When advised we were just there to see the cathedral and asked what the special event was, the attendant shrugged and acted like he did not speak English. We parked, went to the cathedral (after realizing the elevator was broken with no signage to state so), and saw that the building was closed till 4pm concert. (it was about 1:45pm). We immediately left. I asked for the $10 back since we were just there a few minutes and were not able to access the building. Suddenly the attendant spoke very good English and refused to return the money, saying we had parked. I reiterated my request, and the reasoning, and reminded him that we had told him all of this when we entered. He still refused to return the mo

Great parking facility. Easy to get in and get out. Parking was a fair price. Garage is clearly marked for entry and exit. Elevators take you right outside the Cathedral.
