Waters Hardware- Gladstone

Waters hardware store is so awesome the people that work there are so friendly and helpful.. one of the employees helped me pick out my plants... My dog gets to come in there he's a little shih Tzu he is a service dog but I think all dogs are welcome they always give him a treat.... I won't go to any other hardware store I think it might be independently owned those are the best I'd rather go there than Lowe's or home Depot the atmosphere is so much more positive and I love to support small businesses ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯.... I still have to plant two of those plants goodbye dirt and mulch from them they have the best price than the big hardware stores

Doesn't always have everything I need bt very close and a good neighborhood level hardware store I usually try to go here first especially for just a few things. Not always enough of the item I need in stock when you need more then a couple or so items, ie extension cords of a a certain length. Prices are reasonable for most items but could be had for cheaper elsware but who wants to drive across town.

The employees I’ve encountered each time I’ve been in the store just seem to be passing the time and collecting a paycheck. Twice I’ve asked if they know a certain product and twice I’ve heard, “not much” with no attempt to go along and even help me. This store rarely has customers and the employees have to be a big reason why! I will not be back!

Do NOT order online on the Do It Best website for pickup here at Waters Hardware. I forgot to pick up my order and so it was restocked, which was no big deal. However, when they restock an online order they do NOT send any pickup reminder emails OR process a refund for your order. Do It Best keeps the money unless you call the website number and ask for the money to be refunded. The Waters Hardware employee I talked to was unhelpful and couldn't give me any information or process a refund for the order. I will not be back.

Went in to buy rope. Was overcharged, and didn’t realize till I was out in my truck. Went back in and they told me they couldn’t give me a refund on rope. I should have shopped Amazon. It’s cheaper and I could get 4 times the length of rope. I won’t go back.
