Welter Construction built a 14 by 12 composite deck for us this fall. Overall, I was happy with the experience: - The team was good to work with. It's clear that the ownership really cares about doing a good job and they will stay in constant contact with you on every last detail. - The price ended up being competitive after a little bit of negotiation. - Welter took care of everything, including permits and inspection (which, as I learned from the entire summer it took me to find a builder, is far from a given). - The construction process went well and required only minimal adjustments, all of which were not super common items and were taken care of quickly.
