Williams Concrete Inc

Purchased 9 yards of concrete from Williams. When the truck arrived it took us about 30 mins to get it to come out of the truck. When we finally was able to start pouring, the concrete was setting up faster then we could handle, we stopped about 10 ft in a 94 ft job. We called Williams and was told that the load was not bad and they would get with the driver. The concrete was so bad that large dry hard chucks had to be picked out as it was coming down the shoot. We were finally able to have them bring a new load out. Due to the concrete setting up to fast we had to hand break up the the unfinished concrete that we couldn’t work to continue the pour. I ordered concrete a week before even called 2 days before delivery date to confirm and according to John everything was set to go! Now the day of at 9:48 I’m calling because truck was supposed to arrive at 9:00 and still nothing. I called to see what was going on, John no answer, Kevin answered and told me there is “nothing for you sorry and find a new company”, I have 6 men waiting to pour which I will have to pay them, and now I have to loose money from my pocket because of their unprofessional work! I live in maumee myself so will be going to the courthouse to at least attempt to recuperate the money I’m loosing! It’s not the workers fault Williams concrete company are not professional!

Redi mix plants seem to focus on large commercial projects and try to fit the little guys in when they can. It makes it hard to earn a living. These guys are not as rude as most but still customer service is very low on their radar.

Does your box truck driver have any idea how to drive?
