Williams Construction & Meter

No gas for 2 weeks in 50 degree weather. Always come randomly without any calls. Worst customer service ever Update: it’s been three weeks and there’s still no gas because I applied to sick-leave for staying at home from 7 AM and left a note atfront door said dear gas guy I’m home. Please knock the door or ring the doorbell. Nobody has shown up til 3 pm. Called the company and the representative said someone stopped here 1 hour ago and say the note. Assuming that was a notification so just left. This company doesn’t even hire someone with basic intelligence smh

I was notified by Washington Gas that I needed to have my natural gas pressure regulator replaced. WC&MS was contracted by WGL to complete this work. Approximately 40 minutes after the WC&MS employee completed the work and left the house, I began to smell gas on the main floor. I went into the basement where the regulator is and the small of gas was overwhelming. I quickly ushered by two children and dogs out of the house and called the gas emergency line. The gentleman with Washington Gas who was dispatched to my house was wonderful - compassionate and thorough. He had a physical reaction to the gas smell when he walked into the house and confirmed SEVERAL gas leaks in the basement that were caused as a result of Williams Construction & Meter. Washington Gas fixed the leak caused by WC&MS

Total Bozos. In trying to get natural gas meter replaced, carpenters associated with Williams fabricated a nonexistent appointment with me and missed a scheduled appointment with me, and Williams staffers lied to me and apparently could not manage/control any of it. A Washington Gas employee apologized to me for the appalling conduct of Williams but said she couldn't do anything else since Williams has the contract to replace meters in my area. The funny thing: I couldn't care less if my natural gas meter is ever replaced. It's just not my problem, but Washington Gas and the horrible Williams Construction has made it my problem.

I came into contact with this company when Washington Gas was doing some services line work in my area. I have a long story but I will keep this short and to the point . The Williams meter came through for me when things was getting out of control. Eddie was the employee who truly completed the work of moving my meter from inside to the outside of the house. He professionally checked every critical point where gas could have leaked. He also explain what to look for in his testing for gas leaks and showed me the outcome of each test. I was completely satisfied with his work. He made sure all my gas appliances were working before he left the job. Again this is just the short version of a long story and i did not explain how things was getting out of control.

This company replaced our meter on behalf of Washington gas and there is leak. But we having to hire another contractor to fix the issue because Washington gas will not fix the issue.
