Brian Young took $10,000 from us to "buy a product" to spray our pool walls in Sept '24 (he is a roofer but has tools to do this). Verbal estimate was $12,000 with initial $10,000 to buy the product. After we gave him the $10,000, he sent us an invoice that it would be $15,000 instead. Told us he would send a contract as he picked up check. No contract. Told us he would come in November, after he finished a “big job” and told us we were NEXT. Never came kept telling us the weather wouldn’t allow him to finish the job in Indiana. Why does that prevent him from doing my job when it’s dry and above freezing in Kentucky. Contacted him in February when we had some dry spells and above freezing temps forecasted for up to ten days.
