My house has a large crawl space that is mainly sand, but in the summer the water table rises to make a "pool" under my house. After speaking with another company I had a quote of over $15,000 to provide materials and labor to install a vapor barrier system. I then did some research and found YCS. After speaking with their representative on the phone, I purchased the 36 mil vapor barrier and wall curtain system to use in my crawl space. After watching some of the installation videos, the project went very quickly and I finished the ~4,000 SF crawl space project in a couple of days at a savings one over $10,000. I'm totally satisfied with the products and support YCS gave me for this project. I highly recommend them for any crawl space project.

Following up on my promise to post a review, I'm finally getting around to it almost 3 years later. I started this project January 2019 and took 3 months to finish. I did all by myself at at 65 years of age. It took 3 months as I had to chisel off the mortar on all the back side of the brick veneer (to help the wall curtain seal better), regrade the soil and adding 7 yards of fill dirt, clean out all pieces of mortar, plastic, insulation, metal pieces, you name it, that accumulated in the crawl space over the past 40 years. After accidentally coming across the YCS website in 2018, the info and videos on the website made me think I could do this myself. I really liked the idea of using adhesives instead of mechanical fasteners. But I was concerned that the adhesive wouldn't last long,

I encapsulated my own crawlspace. It was a big job. Took me quite a while, but I'm very happy with the results. I used the heavy duty drain mat on both the walls and floor. I used the special adhesive caulk and the seam tape just as Bennie instructed. I'm impressed with the materials. They were of very high quality. I also appreciated the help YCI gave me over the phone prior to ordering and doing the job. They were patient and very helpful. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing this on their own.

This company definitely deserves a Five Star rating. I recently completed a 1700 sq ft encapsulation project using the 15 mil product on the floor and the wall curtain on the piers and walls. I was pleased the way that their system works. I didn't have to put holes in the walls and the curtains were easy to install. The pricing on the products was excellent and lower than their competitors. Benny and HP were always ready and willing to answer any questions I had. Another BIG PLUS was the reduction in the radon reading. The reading went from a 5.4 reading before encapsulation to a 1.4 reading after the encapsulation was completed. This East Tennessee resident is one satisfied customer. Ernie Goulet
