Jeff was not only creepy and unprofessional, but incompetent to boot! When he painted our previously stained built in cabinets for the second time (because he failed to sand and prime them the first time), and they peeled within days again, I asked why this was happening. He showed me the “special” paint he used the second time. It was labeled “New Cabinet Paint- no priming required.” His lack of mastery of even simple painting nomenclature was evident. The paint he chose the second time was meant for “new cabinets” that had never been stained. He thought it was a “new” paint technology. He refused to do the job again, a blessing in disguise. He said I’d have to sue him if I wanted money back, and that he would simply file bankruptcy. I would not let Jeff Shur in my home ever agai
