645 Prospect Garage

I do my best to not bring any additional negativity in this world, so when I have a bad experience at a place, I won't leave a negative review. Unfortunately I can't stand idly by and let this business get away with this. Paid $40 to park for a Cleveland Guardians game, and was charged an additional $13 to leave the garage after the game. I've never once looked up a garage's Google Reviews before parking someplace, so this review may be futile, but it seems I'm not the only person who has had this issue. I can only hope the owner reads this and realizes that what they are doing is wrong, and they change their ways. It's never too late to do the right thing.

The facility is disgusting to say the least. I was staying at a nearby hotel and did not want to valet park, what a mistake. The Cleveland Guardians had a game and I was charged $30 event parking even though I told them I was staying at the hotel. I was told I would get credit when I left in the morning. I still had to pay an additional $19 on top of the $30. The elevators did not work and I parked on the fourth floor. I had to go down four flights of stairs with luggage and then back up the next day. On top of it all, the stairwells were filthy and the stench revolting! When I got to my car in the morning, it had been broken into and ransacked. Everything from my center console was on the passenger seat and any loose change and bills were stolen. Was very dirty but at first was acceptable to save some money staying at residence inn. Their valet was 42/day. Paid $20/day here instead, but our car was broken in to and everything was all over the car. They got away with loose bills and change. Next time we will pay the outrageous 42/day for valet or stay somewhere else.

We parked here for a comedy show on East 4th. The sign says that they close at 1am, however when we got back at about 11:50 the doors were already locked. We called security and they said they had just left and were on their way back. We waited and finally 10 minutes later we were let in by a nice guy who was walking by with a key card. When we got to the paystation it was 12:01, so we had to pay double. It immediately became clear to us that this is a scam to get you to pay for 2 days instead of one. I imagine that this is a regular business practice that they do most nights to make more money.
