I recently used 831 Movers, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. I highly recommend them for any moving needs. The owner, Oren, personally visited our apartment to provide an accurate estimate for packing and moving our belongings to a nearby house in Santa Cruz. We agreed on a schedule where his team would pack one day and move everything the next. Unexpectedly, we encountered an issue with the flooring in the house, which required rescheduling the move. Oren was extremely accommodating and allowed us to adjust the pack and move dates on short notice without any hassle. Once the packing and moving process began, everything went seamlessly. 831 moved us from San Jose to Felton where we stored our belongings until they again moved us into our new house in Aptos - all within ~2 months. To start, we got a super clear - and reasonable - bid that told us exactly what we were paying for. They were communicative / responsive leading up to the move, and punctual on the day of. The guys in his crew were hard working, nice people, who went above and beyond to wrap and otherwise protect our belongings. When we finally landed in Aptos, they moved and installed a washer and dryer and put together 2 beds, which was above and beyond. We couldn't recommend them strongly enough and will absolutely use them again when we're in need. Thanks 831!!

Hands down, THE BEST moving experience EVER! I've moved 6 times in 14 years and this experience restored my faith in moving companies! These folks actually care about YOU!!! They're HONEST! On time! The men worked well as a team and came in UNDER budget! Additionally, I couldn't find something after the move, so I reached out to see if it was left on the truck (only to find it in my garage!) and the men came back to my house to make sure everything was ok! I ended up locking myself out of my house while chatting with them. They were so kind to help me get back into my home! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! Hire them!!!!

Oren and the moving team were awesome. We drove a U-Haul and needed help unloading two couches, an upright piano, and three heavy shop tools. Scheduling was easy and done over the phone. Communication was great leading up to the move-in day. The team of three came exactly on time and were highly efficient. The entire process took less than an hour. They even helped move old couches out to the curb while bringing the newer couches in from the truck. I highly recommend using this company.
