Action Fuel Oil

My boiler feed line clogged up and I was in a bad situation. It was 2 degrees outside with wind chill this past Sunday February 1, 2026. The answering service dispatched me to one their on call technicians. His name was Lonny. This guy came to my house within the hour and mind you I did not have a service contract at this time, I will now though. He serviced my boiler and determined that my fuel oil tank from the time period of the Nixon administration had seen better days. He put a temporary fix in line to get me through the next few days and keep my family warm. The service fee and bill was well worth the peace of mind knowing my pregnant wife and family pet Jack Jack would be kept warm and comfortable. I've used action fuel for oil delivery for years. They are always courteous on the phone and are very prompt with fuel deliveries. My biggest mistake was not using them for boiler service. Recently had an issue before a cold snap and they got a tech out to me the same day. He was really thorough and got my system running better than ever. Will continue with their annual service moving forward.

I am usually not the type to right a review but this morning I woke up to no heat on the coldest day. I called them as soon as they opened and there was a truck out here right away. The delivery driver was so kind and helpful. They got the tank filled and my heat back on for me. They literally saved the day! Thank you!

Live in mahopac in need of oil desperately. Called around everyone said 2 weeks. I called three other companies. I said I'm out of oil new house. Action took care off us. Next day. Thank God they could do this. Very professional will be using them again

I requested a propane delivery and they filled my fuel oil tank instead. This has happened twice before and each time I called, they apologized and said they'd make a note of it. I do not think a note was made because this happened a 3rd time (today). I don't get it. I just need propane and not have an unexpected charge of $422 to my credit card. Update: They are honest. Not once did they discredit my story. They fixed the situation and remained respectful during the misunderstanding.
