Allen Co Inc

My white SUV got sprayed by a tar truck preparing to blacktop while sitting a driveway. After realizing what had happened, I got a quote from a detail shop the next day to have it removed as it was going to require a professional. I reached out to The Allen Company, they put me through to the person in charge. After explaining what happened, I sent them my quote and it was handled in a matter of minutes. That is customer service rarely seen these days and I certainly appreciate the timely manner so I can get this taken care of.

Some of the poorest construction planning I have ever seen. Both sides of the interstate shut down at the same time and 90% of the time you never see any actual work being done. Cones are left out on the road even when the company is off which causes massive traffic pile ups. Multiple accidents have been caused due to their negligence. Accidents happen almost daily. Absolutely no reason more staff isn’t being called in to get these projects done. Half a year to complete 15-20 miles of paving is insane.

Well where do we begin, the public/private partnership of roadways is so corrupt and in the pockets of the private side of the agreement. Jobs get dragged out much longer than they should to try and squeeze more money out of the state for the Allen Co, the quality is always at the bare minimum. I've almost gotten into multiple car crashes due to the recklessness of the Allen truck drivers. The negligence of construction has actually led to accidents and fatalities. The state needs to actually step in and push back against these pathetic companies that walk all over them. The Allen company HAS TO GO.

This company is a joke. The decision makers should be fired. They have created dangerous road conditions for drivers up and down I75 in Richmond Ky. Its incredible that we, as a community, have allowed this project to continue under their supervision. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Poor use of government contract and even worse use of 13.5M …what should’ve been a 3 month repave turned into a an 8 month poop show. No joke it literally took from March to October to complete the roads. Their contractural incompetence lead to dangerous merges resulting in numerous wrecks. Not to mention fatalities from results of continuous ongoing construction. The paving job is also horrendous and the road still looks like crap.
