Do not do business with Alliance Flooring Services. This company partners with apartment complexes like Harrison Tower in Portland to replace perfectly good carpet after only 11 months of use—then charges tenants over $1,000 for it. In my case, they installed new carpet and pad in unit 4B with an invoice dated 05/12/25 totaling $1,027.09, despite the carpet being less than a year old and in good condition. This is part of a recurring scheme where they work with landlords to replace flooring unnecessarily so they can bill outgoing tenants and profit off of move-out fees. This isn’t standard wear-and-tear maintenance—it’s predatory. If you’re a property manager or landlord looking for an honest flooring partner, look elsewhere.
