ARP Heating & Air Conditioning

We’ve been using ARP for the past 4 years and we’ve been very happy with their service. Our 25+ year-old furnace stopped working during one of the extremely cold periods just before Christmas, and it finally hit the point of replacement. ARP went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, and they were able to install a new HVAC system very quickly. They were punctual, courteous, efficient, and provided a very professional and clean installation. The owner even stopped by twice to check on the installation and had excellent communication with us during the entire process. There is no question Andy cares about his company and the customer. We highly recommend ARP as a company!

AMAZING customer service, the owner came out on Christmas Eve morning and was extremely helpful! He fixed it in 5 minutes and was so patient explaining what happened. He waived the service charge as an act of goodwill and wished us a Merry Christmas! I couldn’t thank him enough. As a previous customer in 2017, since then I had heard somewhat mixed reviews but when it really counted, they came through and the service was OUTSTANDING! They’ve gained a loyal customer in us going forward! His estimate for when it breaks for good was also very reasonable compared to others we have gotten in the past! Can’t recommend them enough.

Maybe I am just too old, but I get frustrated by every retailer and every service company asking me to take the time to complete a review. Consequently, I rarely give them. HOWEVER, in this case I GLADLY provide one. We have used ARP multiple times now; to install a generator last year and to install a new furnace and AC unit this year. I could not be more happy with ARP's service. From Andy all the way through to the installation teams, technicians and the office staff, everyone is professional, polite, friendly and easy to work with. We all know how hard it can be to find good service companies. Well, ARP is one of the good ones. And I will continue to use them in the future. We’ve used ARP for over a decade now for hot water tank purchase, air conditioning and furnace maintenance. They are always so responsive, professional and personable. I strongly recommend them for maintenance, repairs, as well as needed replacements.

ARP came out to service my mother’s furnace and were able to temporarily get it running. The technician stated it would need a new inducer motor. Later, when they provided a phone estimate for the repair, they refused to give anything in writing, saying, “we do not do a price breakdown.” This felt unprofessional and concerning, especially for a repair service. It’s not fair to treat any customer this way, particularly a single elderly woman. I understand the law requires written estimates for repairs over $25, so it was shocking that they refused—even for a repair, not a new installation. Customers deserve clear, written estimates before approving any work and should also receive a breakdown of parts and labor costs so there’s no confusion about the total price.
