We went through Home Depot to install countertops. They subcontracted ASSI and the experience was less than ideal. It took them weeks to schedule. The guy who took all the measurements didn’t take in the electrical receptacles into consideration so the back splash didn’t fit. When I called to let them know, they wouldn’t refund me even though they are the ones who measured. They offered to cut around there but that would look terrible. The guys installing were fine but even they said cutting around wouldn’t look great. The manager was supposed to call but she never did so the left me with the back splash. Would not recommend working with them.

ASSI installed my kitchen countertops as a contractor for my local Home Depot. After having contact with another countertop contractor that was totally uncooperative as to my needs, I was able to change to ASSI. From the very beginning, they were courteous and helpful in all aspects of planning the fabrication of the tops. The men who did the installation couldn’t have been better more helpful in making sure all of my requirements were met. I can give my interactions nothing but praise.

Kitchen cabinets purchased and installed by ASSI Fabricators. The did a “ fabulous “ job from start to finish. I highly, highly recommend them.

After receiving no response my phone calls and emails through the entire process including after when I was letting them know how badly the countertops were installed, I feel compelled to share my experience. There was no communicatuon at all on anything. Even the day they showed up we had to drop everything to quickly "fix" things so they would install the counters. They left a 1/2 in. Gap between the counters and cabinets that you can see without even trying. There are rough, crooked edges, it just doesn't look good. Then when I told them about this, they still refuse to respond to me. I would not let this company in my home again.
