B & E Pump Co

First time going in to buy my expansion tank was fine. He had fair prices and knew what I needed. Second visit was to buy fittings to install my water softener and I was basically laughed out of the store by the gentleman working there (owner?) and another plumber in there making a purchase. Basically, if you have any questions and are DIY’ing something this isn’t the place to go. He didn’t have the capacity to answer a few simple questions.

Great Experience at B&E Pump! I recently visited B&E Pump and had a fantastic experience. Mark, the owner who helped me, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to understand my needs and provided expert advice on the plumbing parts I was looking for. Not only was Mark helpful, but I was also impressed by the great selection of plumbing parts they have available. I was able to find exactly what I needed and at a competitive price. B&E Pump clearly has a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing supplies.

I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully in my entire life as I was today at B & E Pump co.. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the arrogance emanating from the employee. When I mentioned that I was unsure about the size of a part, he was incredibly demeaning and made me feel belittled for not knowing. His attitude was distasteful, and it was clear that he had no intention of being helpful. Instead, he made it a point to remind me of how long he’d been in the business, as if that justified his blatant rudeness. It was painfully obvious that his behavior was rooted in misogyny, as he seemed to take pleasure in trying to shut me down simply because I’m a woman. It was one of the most degrading experiences I’ve ever had. Thankfully, I went to another plumbing supply store after

I went into B&E to purchase both a flush and fill valve for my home toilet. I informed Mark, the shop owner, of the toilet model and part numbers, and asked if he had any suggestions. Upon this request he had a few condescending remarks and overall seemed disgruntled. When I told him his behavior was off-putting and that I planned to go elsewhere he took it as an opportunity to berate me. I told him his behavior was unprofessional and at this point he stated "if you continue talking this will go incredibly bad for the both of us." I strongly advise to avoid this business, and Mark if you read this you need to re-evaluate your business model, threatening a client should never be a part of that practice.
