From start to finish, they were exceptionally professional and clearly took pride in their work. The contractors were always courteous and respectful of our home, taking the time each day to cover work areas and wear protective coverings over their shoes. They listened carefully to our questions and concerns throughout the process and were thoughtful and flexible when adjustments were needed. Blackwood Construction consists of professional and highly skilled people who I would call first for whatever future projects I have. The estimate process was thorough and Louise worked with us to insure we were getting what we wanted. The project manager, Ray, I can’t say enough about. His updates on what was happening with the project was very much appreciated. He took the time to explain what would happen and when, and to introduce anybody who would be working in our home. The workers all worked efficiently and cleanly. They cleaned up their workspace every time before they left. We are very happy with our updated primary bathroom.

This team is amazing! You can tell they genuinely care. Everyone is friendly and professional. We completely opened up and remodeled our galley-style kitchen. From start to finish, they are very detail oriented and don't miss a thing! They have transformed our outdated small kitchen into a luxurious space we all want to be 24/7. From our very first meeting with Louise, we felt confident that our master bathroom remodel would be done exactly to our liking. Being able to meet with the designer at their studio and see everything in person made a huge difference in pulling the whole design together. Our project manager, Ray, was fantastic—he communicated with us daily and stopped by every day work was being done. The entire team was respectful of our home, our dog, and the fact that we work from home. They were thoughtful, professional, and even did a quick tidy-up at the end of each day. We hired Blackwood to finish our basement this fall/winter and we are so glad we made the decision to go with them. We first met with one of the owners, Louise, who was so knowledgeable and personable. She made the planning process very easy for us and was able to secure us a great price on our flooring (which came out beautifully) before their vendor’s price hike this fall. Our project manager Greg was a consistent and clear communicator throughout the process. He did a great job scheduling all of the various teams throughout the project so we didn’t experience any lulls in progress or delays.
