We hired a landscaping company to service our neighborhood, but after six months, we decided to terminate the contract. Their work was poor — they failed to properly maintain the grass, didn’t control the weeds, didn’t prune the shrubs, sometimes they didn’t clean the patios after mowing. As a result, the overall appearance of the neighborhood has significantly declined.

do not let your HOA hire Bland, they do an absolutely awful job. they come irregularly sometimes skipping an entire week or two during the growing season, it's hit or miss on which areas they actually mow, they do a terrible job of trimming if at all, they let the grass grow into the plant beds and then spray it with Roundup killing your plants, they let the commons areas go knee deep, they let the culverts get completely overrun by weeds before spraying them with Roundup, they do not treat the lawns for weeds, they have only fertilized once this year, they mow Bermuda grass at 4 to 5 inch3s, and here it is almost September and they still have not aerated. our neighborhood used to look nice, now it looks like trash.

Bland landscaping did a great job blowing the leaves off of the rooftop deck from the house I rent from! The roof always amasses dead leaves from the winter, then when spring comes I sweep the leaves into a plastic bag with a broom which can take a bit of time for me. I asked Derrick to blow the leaves off my deck which took him no time at all-he climbed over the rail and blew them off the deck and the roof-he scooped the leaves out of my screen door as well. My rooftop deck is like a mini cyclone when I try to get the leaves off, I’m glad Derrick went the extra mile to get the job done for me. Thank you, Bland Landscaping!

Good in the world. I just ran out of gas at 540 and Salem. Bland landscaping crew came up behind me and helped no questions asked and wouldn’t even take a tip. God bless them.

We have had such great service from Bland for our community. On the rare occurrence there ever is a service issue, one call to Robyn and its taken care of. From my experience on our board, there is no "perfect" landscaper - but it is in how the respond to service issues that matters.
