In response to Joann C, As an outside third party that has inspected this reported concrete porch & walk item has found it to be within all guidelines. As an added measure, a second inspection was ordered for an additional outside company that would have benefited from approving and replacing but came back with the same determination that the porch and sidewalk were within all standards and did not require replacement. As for the final aesthetic view of the detention basin, the installation of the storm water detention basin and detention plantings were inspected and approved by Canton Township. Have nothing to do with Boji, they do not stand up for their work and are very difficult to work with. They provide a home warranty, which is a joke, since there are so many loopholes, that just about nothing is covered. We paid $10,000 extra to live on a pond. They do not and will not maintain it, even though they are still building in the neighborhood. They handed it over to the HOA in horrible condition and wants our HOA to pay for cleaning up the muddy, weed filled mess. Their concrete subcontractor does horrible work and neither will take responsibility for our heaving front steps.

I was very interested in discussing their development in Van Buren but as soon as I said that I was looking to buy in approximately a year, I was ghosted. I got the impression that because I didn’t have a check in hand ready for them, they couldn’t care less about talking with me. I’ve emailed back 3 times and no response. The homes are gorgeous but I would be very apprehensive about moving forward with them because I got the impression they don’t seem to care about the needs of their customers or potential customers.
