SRP recently installed some power lines on the edge of our neighborhood and in the process damaged some sidewalk and curbing with their heavy equipment. Canyon Valley Concrete was contracted to place the concrete of the replacement sidewalks and curbs. The day they stripped their forms, I could tell while driving past in my car that this was some of the worst formwork, finishing, and consolidation of concrete I had ever seen. Looks like they formed their concrete with cardboard, used an electric toothbrush to vibrate, and used a boomerang as their straight edge. They did such a poor job I’m surprised the crew was even willing to stamp their company name in this concrete. It’s visually unappealing even from a moving car. I had my 45‘ x 24‘ wide garage foundation poured with massive footings and also the rest of my driveway which was about 70‘ x 28‘ wide, communication was great, they do pay attention to the details, they use the right tools including a laser guided level system. They are absolutely competitive in their pricing. I would definitely recommend these guys again, top-notch quality work with really good prices they will not rip you off.
