CGE came to my house last year after the power went out in half of the upper level of my house. Not only did they come out the same day to investigate the problem, when Paul arrived, he put protective covers/booties on his work shoes to walk through my home - without even asking him to do so. Paul discovered the issue in less than 15 minutes and corrected the wiring that brought power back to my upstairs level. And in addition to all of that, the charges were extremely reasonable. I would trust CGE to do work for me any time in the future.

Last August CGE installed a Generac unit for us. We have lost our power several time since then, we are thrilled with the generator. We had an excellent crew install the unit and were very pleased with the service. Yesterday we got up to no power and the generator was running. Everyone around us had power so my first thought was the generator had malfunctioned. I called Paul he was at our house within the hour to check out the unit. The problem was not our unit, an under ground electrical line was broken.

To hire CGE is to let burglars into your home. These inconsiderate contractors had absolutely no respect for my home when performing their duties. They didn't cover up any surfaces. They left the home a mess and they damaged several of my personal belongings while "fixing" the circuitry in my apartment. NEVER invite these goons into your home!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, DO NOT USE THEM. Called Paul at CGE mid December, i recently purchased a home that he has been servicing for the original owner for years. I told him that there is a Generator on Site that is not working that i need to get running to clear city inspection. Paul asked me to send him an email to remind him. This cycle took place for 4 weeks and him not getting back to me. I called him today to confirm that he is receiving my emails and he told me he's too busy and i can call someone else and hung up on me. 0 Customer Service 0 Care of customer exerience Rude Do not waist your time or money with these guys.

I used CGE Electric to put a 220 line in my basement studio for a new kiln i received. The owner came out right away and took his time explaining to me about the line and venting. While inspecting the house inside and outside in order to best place the elictric and venting he pointed out that some of my outside wires were frayed and were an extreme hazard. I so appreciated that extra diligence and attention to detail that might have saved me from a dangerous situation.
