Charleene's Houses

We hired Charleene's Houses, LLC to complete a second-floor addition on our home, including a new bedroom and bathroom to give our family of five more space. Our project manager, Kristin, was extremely professional, communicative, and thorough. She provided weekly updates and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Because our home is nearly 100 years old, the project touched every part of the house and required significant problem-solving. The team at Charleene's Houses handled each challenge thoughtfully and skillfully. We are so happy with our kitchen and mudroom renovation from Charleene's Houses! We know from the beginning that going through such a big renovation would be stressful and disruptive to our lives but using Charleene's company alleviated that as much as possible! Macy was able to come up with a great new kitchen layout based on our requests. We also got a very detailed SOW up front so there were no surprises along the way, and we could tweak things according to our budget. Charleene and her team did a full bedroom and bathroom renovation, which exceeded our expectations - it’s absolutely stunning!! Charleene was very communicative and made the process as seamless as possible with managing subcontractors and more seeing how everything was fully gutted. It was also reassuring to work with a smaller shop as Charleene was very involved in the process from beginning to end, and was onsite and/or just a phone call away throughout the entire project.

We had a wonderful experience with Charleene and team. We had been planning this project for years, but couldn't quite figure out how to best stay in budget and configure the space to work for us.
