We were left with water damage when a water valve to the refrigerator leaked into the basement. The drywall was saturated as was the insulation and trim. The drywall around the window was crumbling. The rug was wet and so was the padding underneath. After water mitigation, we contacted Checklist Handyman Services to get an estimate on whatever they had the skills to fix. They did it all! We worked directly with Jose rather than juggling multiple contractors. He even worked with the insurance company, writing a detailed scope so they could understand the full extent of the work required. We are excited to have our basement back again! Jose did an awesome job. He updated my entire finished basement . New flooring including stairs, new kitchen cabinets, new bathroom vanity and toilet. And painted everything. All together about 1500sq’ of living space . It looks beautiful. He is professional and very knowledgeable with a great attitude. Definitely using him for future projects.

Checklist Handyman Services did a great job renovating our 35 year old house's ugly bathroom in September of 2018. The original owner never renovated anything since 1984 and we have been waiting to update the largest bathroom for years. I found Jose's card at a YMCA and gave him a call. I found out it was easier to communicate with them via email because he is really busy. His estimate was very fair and competitive. We finally got down to work and the project changed each day because this old house has some hidden problems. I knew that the cost may increase because of the unpredictable plumbing issues I was sure would arise. Jose was very flexible with changes and responded kindly to my questions and concerns. The final cost was reasonable and I think a great value. He is very personable

I recently had a new mailbox post installed. Jose was very professional. He responded to my request almost immediately. There was great communication and it was installed in a timely manner. Jose made sure everything was put back in order before leaving the site

José was punctual and has wonderful customer service. We had to replace our attic ladder, which is quite a big job if not experienced in it. He got the job done right so that we didn't have the stress of replacing it ourselves. We will be happy to hire José in the future! :)
