Civic Center Garage

It was well-lit and appeared clean. I found a convenient parking spot as soon as I pulled in. It was steps to my destination, the Hall of Justice.

Expensive for just a couple of hours at night for a game. At least it is fairly clean, doesn't reek of urine, and usually no vagrants lurking about. Of course it probably helps that it connects to a police station and court.

Could not get in. Roads were in total gridlock.

This is a MUST if you have business in Monroe County! It is located in the same building as the courts, sherriffs, etc.. Seems very secure, well lighted. Ample parking, although you might have a bit of a walk on big court days. It is multi-floors with an elevator. Directions on Waze are simple, it is right off 490, a couple of turns, and in ya go!! Prices are commensurate with similar parking facilities.

Conveniently located across the street from the Civic Center and is attached to the courthouse. That’s about all the garage has going for it, however. The place stinks of urine. Poor lighting (even in broad daylight) makes it feel very unwelcoming and the layout makes it easy to get lost in. the spaces are also quite narrow, making it a challenge to park a large vehicle. On a nice day, I’d rather drive around the block a few times for a place on the street. There is also an outdoor parking lot under the overpass within walking distance of the arena/courthouse & the prices are much better.
