We called around to get the best deal on gutter installation. William answered our call, took the info and quoted the job while on the phone with my husband. He was on our doorstep at 8:30 the following morning. William and his employee did an awesome job. The overall quoted cost was adjusted as we gave him a guesstimate of the length which was off by several feet. Once they completed the gutters on the house my husband asked if they would use the old gutter and attach it to the front of the garage as it had no gutter on it. William completed that job as well. William is honest, fair and very reliable. We highly recommend his company.

After contacting Comstock I was told it would be about 2 weeks before they could get to my gutter cleaning job. I agreed. 2 weeks came and went. I called them. They said roughly 2 more weeks before they could get to my gutters. 2 more weeks came and went. Tired of watching my gutters overflow I called another company. Comstock finally called me back to tell me it would be another week. When I told him I had to go with another company before my house was damaged he hung up on me.

I had Comstock come and install gutters on my house about a year and a half ago. It was difficult to work with them, as they did not communicate well about when they were coming, and wound up showing up at a time that I was not even home. The reason I'm posting this review later, is that I recently learned from another contractor that the gutters were installed incorrectly. This winter, melting snow ripped the gutters right off the side of my house. Why? Because the gutters were installed too close to the top of the soffit. Therefore, the angle of the roof pitch directed all the snow right onto the edge of the gutter and the weight pulled the gutters off my house. Last winter, we had some ice build up, which I thought maybe was the result of some leaves that I had forgotten to clean out.

Dealing with Comstock was as seamless as their name suggests. Great product, great service!
