Crazy Horse Art Studio - Mosaics & More

My daughters and I had a wonderful experience at Crazy Horse Art Studio. I've been wanting to learn how to mosaic for years and this was the perfect opportunity. The studio is open on the weekends and by appointment during the week. You pick one of the many backgrounds, starting in price from around $15 for the smaller shapes, (like the long horn pictured). A medium sized one runs averages around 30-40 depending on the shape. The cost includes ALL of the supplies you need, including access to a range of glass pieces, beads, and other items you can put on into your mosaic. All of the glass pieces have been tumbled and do not have sharp edges. After you pick out your tiles you'll use tile adhesive to affix your tiles. My husband and I wanted to do something new and different for our 10th anniversary and a trip to Crazy Horse Art studio was the perfect answer and left us with some cherished momentos of the occasion. The artist owner, Liz, was a delight. She was welcoming, helpful, encouraged our creativity and made the whole process fun. I can see why most customers return here over and over again. We certain are looking forward to going back ourselves - we absolutely loved it!

Have made projects here a few times and am returning to make holiday gifts in the coming weeks. Liz an absolute blast to learn from and a master of her craft. She’ll guide as much as you want her to and encourage your creative juices. I have loved the pieces I’ve made to date and believe each one is better as my confidence grows to make more complex art for my home and now gifts. Thrilled to have a craft I can actually do with friends and love afterwards! My paintings were never good lol. What I love about Liz’s space, is that we get to pick what we’re making instead of following along in a class. Plus being able to bring bevvies and snacks is a bonus! Highly recommend for any occasion!
