We had a pleasant experience working with Design Builders. They were professional and dedicated, working through some very cold weather to complete the job. Any issues that came up were addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The online project management portal took some getting used to, but worked effectively to track tasks and keep everyone informed of progress. The team acquired the required permits and delivered a quality project within the scheduled timeline. We appreciate Design Builders' attention to detail and the care taken to seamlessly integrate the screened porch into the existing structure. It looks great and we love it! We recommend and would use again.

Design Builders is a 5-star company. We have a screened-in porch and we got tired of constantly cleaning the pollen each spring as well as having rain and snow get into the porch. I did extensive research and decided to go with Sunscape vinyl windows over ez-breeze windows. Next, I had to find someone to do install these windows. I found several good reviews for Design Builders. I was not disappointed. We worked with their customer representative, Cathy. She showed us the windows at their showroom and fully answered all of our questions. Cathy was wonderful to work with. Next, their prep team surveyed and measured the window. First and foremost, I highly recommend Design Builders for home improvement projects. Design Builders has done an excellent job designing and building our deck earlier this year (Feb-March 2022). The entire process was impeccably planned and executed. The planning phase of the project started about 9 months before the actual build, but that meant that once the execution phase started everything was ready, all materials arrived on time, and everything was completed in the planned period. The company is using an online tool to keep track of everything project related, including material selection, schedule, photos, change orders, financials, and communication. I cannot say enough good things about Design Builders. We live in a small house in Old Town Alexandria and they were able to make our vision for an sun room a reality - far exceeding our expectations. They dealt with the architectural review board, stayed in constant communication through a weekly tag-up plus texting, calling, emailing if there were ever any concerns. The team arrived each day, on-time like clockwork and was proactive about coming up with work-arounds to keep things moving even if materials were delayed. We love our room, and the quality craftmanship is evident throughout the space. We use the space every day - it's really enhanced the livability of our home. They built a new deck and screened in porch. We chose them even though they were not the lowest price. Their attention to detail and follow up made the deal work for us. They showed up every day on time and cleaned the area every day. They finished the work in a very timely manner.
