Dons Appliance

Came highly recommended by a friend but the nice woman answering the phone assumed my drier was a single unit stackable, which it is not. Once we got through that clarification, she asked what was going on. I told her the drier says F70 error on the screen. Again, she refused to set up an appointment. No explanation. Just shut down the conversation and referred me to someone else. If I wanted someone else, I would have called them. Most unusual experience ever.

Don't call them if you expect them to wear booties in your house, or at the very least, take their shoes off because you don't want everything they've walked on tracked through your house. The receptionist was very nice when I called to make the appointment. We had a nice,friendly conversation. When I asked about the shoe policy, though, I was told that they wouldn't be able to help me after all. After reading some of the other reviews, it became clear that I probably wouldn't want this man in my house, let alone give him my money. According to another one star review, he canceled a long term working relationship with a company because he encountered an employee with a Spanish accent whom he had to work to understand. What a difference in reviews. Looks like folks either love Don's Appliances or hate them. Nothing in between. We just used Don for the first time to clean out our dryer vent. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. We set an appointment to meet my schedule. Don showed up on time, was polite professional and went about his work quickly. I'm satisfied and will call Don the next time I have an appliance that needs repair.

I cannot say enough good things about Don's. We called and left a message two days before Thanksgiving (we left the message around 9pm) Don's mom called us back at 8am the next morning, and she was polite, friendly, and patient while I tried to find the model of my refrigerator. She explained everything to me and scheduled the appointment right away. By 9am, Don was here to look at my refrigerator. He took one look and knew exactly what was wrong. He had the part on his truck and was able to repair it right away. During the repair I was making Thanksgiving dinner (prep), and we chatted back and forth. He was nice and we had a great conversation. The repair went quickly, and our freezer runs great now. The price was much lower than I expected, too. Honestly, if one of your appliances

This is the worst experience I have ever had. I spent over $50,000 on Thermidor appliances and the refrigerator has not worked for seven months. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone in their service department. They have canceled several times. They can’t get the parts. It is a horrible experience and I would not buy from them again. I’m going to try to call another dealer to see if I can get the appliance repaired.
