John kept us in the loop the entire time and was easy to get a hold of whenever questions came up. He spent time walking us through different deck options and costs! John helped us understand the need for types of lumber we needed but gave us the options of various other materials and costs instead of just pushing one approach. His team that worked on the project was professional and respectful. His crew were courteous, showed up when they said they would, and cleaned up after themselves, which went a long way for us. John replaced my exterior door and did an amazing job! It was a custom door and I had trouble finding a contractor who would take the project. John had no problem and tackled the challenge. My old door was falling apart and warped, he replaced it with a new fiberglass one. He took the old door that was rounded at the top and installed a rectangular door. He redid the frame and made sure it is insulated. He listened to all my concerns and I am very happy with the finished project. It’s a beautiful update. He is knowledgeable, friendly and clean. I would 💯 recommend him to everyone and also hire him again.

John at Duramen Builds is working on remodeling my small condominium here in Kingston and is doing an amazing job. From a new fireplace, kitchen, a living room custom cabinet and mantel to new indoor window frames, the quality is beyond what I expected. He and his whole team are great to work with, and very professional. There were several local trades involved in the overall project. John made sure the work was coordinated so that there were no delays. Work has kept flowing so that each phase has been completed in the timeframe he stated in our discussions.
