We recently had the pleasure of working with Scott Scardilli and his team at Elmwood Services Inc. to remove a dead tree and trim several others on our property in North Caldwell. As first-time homeowners with little knowledge of tree care, we were initially apprehensive about the process. However, Scott's exceptional communication skills and expertise put us at ease right from the start. Scott was incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring we understood each step of the process. His team was professional, efficient, and meticulous in their work. The dead tree was removed safely and without a trace, and the other trees trimmed on our property now look healthier and better maintained than ever before. Elmwood Services did an incredible job not only cutting down my trees but my neighbor behind and on the side of me as well all in the same day. They worked safely and cleaned the area spotless upon completion. Everyone was pleasant. Massive operation that takes serious coordination and they’re pro’s. Definately recommend them. After days of torrential rain, and during 50+mph winds, a 65 y/o 80-foot white pine tree came down on my house at 10:30pm. 2/3 of the tree was still leaning on the house and roof, while the top 1/3 split on the peak of the roof. This presented a disaster which needed immediate attention as the roof was punctured in various places as it continued to rain, both outside, and now INSIDE. The fire dept. told me to start calling tree service companies and get them there asap. The first two I called were unresponsive, even though they advertise as having 24-hour emergency service. The third call was to Elmwood Services. (I should have called them FIRST!) At 11:30pm, still raining and with record wind speeds, Javier came out to assess the damage and situation. He promised me that his men would be

Brian and his team were all very professional and kind. He took the time to review the work with me after they were done. The price was very reasonable and they did a great job. Every scrap was cleaned up off our property before they left. Highly recommended.
