Essex Concrete Corporation - Tappahannock

Got a quote, then called back two days later to set up the delivery for that Friday and they told me it had went up almost $150 from the original quote! They're reasoning was for taxes. Well I added it all up and come to find out it was not taxes as taxes were already added in. They were trying to charge extra fuel and delivery charges. Then the other guy slipped up and told me taxes were already factored in there so I knew they were lying.... After I caught them in a lie they got very irate on the phone. I told them if they'd just split the difference I would just pay it because I already had the workers set up. They told me they weren't changing the price and I could do one of two things. 1. Pour the concrete and pay for it. Cause they weren't changing the price or 2. Cancel the order! T

Sent numerous inquiries and they never responded, left them a voicemail and nothing… they clearly don’t care about customers….

Was told someone would be out here around lunch time. Its now 2:00 and i haven't even got a phone call. Their place is only 20 mins. from my house and they still can't make it on time if at all.

Been doing business with them for years. Am pleased with the service I have received.
