On Friday January 2nd our 33 year old gas heating system finally gave out. With the Holidays and very cold temps many local HVAC businesses were booked up for nearly a week. Exxel Mechanical Services answered my call and the owner Bob G showed up at my house within 30 minutes. With my system being 33 years old and parts no longer available Bob gave me a quote for a completely new HVAC system that was very reasonable and competitive. He ordered the system on the spot and scheduled the removal of the old system and install of the new for the following Thursday. The Exxel crew showed up as scheduled Thursday morning at 8:30 am. They promptly removed the old system and installed the new system all before 3:00 pm. They guys were very friendly, polite, and hard working. Very neat and profession

Bob and his team were fair, honest and did a great job replacing our HVAC units that were original to our house. The estimate process was quick and easy, they got us on the schedule quickly and they worked diligently for 2 days to get the systems installed and working great, despite the hot weather and having to be up in our attic for one part. Bob even came back the next day on a Saturday to fix an issue with the thermostat so it was registering the temperature properly. We got quotes from other companies but the reasons we chose Exxel were that they install a higher-end brand with an incredible warranty, and were several thousand dollars less than rivals who only install a lower-end brand. BLUF: really happy with Exxel and will look to them for future HVAC service needs. Our oil furnace hadn't been serviced in ages - I didn't know how often they need looking-after until I thought to ask, house didn't come with a manual, etc. I called Bob on a Tuesday in December and he was able to schedule a yearly inspection/cleaning/tune-up for the next day. Eric and Liam arrived within the service window and were professional, courteous, and patient in answering my questions. The furnace has been humming along now for almost two months which is a marked improvement over how it did last winter when it stopped and needed restarting every few days and in doing so got me thinking that I needed to have a professional check it out. Absolutely the best service. I have used them twice. Once for a leaking coil with my heat pump . Bob was fantastic very knowledgeable. He got the part orders and installed in a reasonable amount of time. He and his staff member did an outstanding job. My recent issue was very minor it turned out. From the time I called him to the issue being resolved was outstanding . I couldn’t be more pleased. I highly recommend Exxel . They are truly outstanding!

Bob was very responsive and restored heating in 24 hours, including ordering heat kit from his distributor. His quote including material, labor and 1 year warranty was excellent. His professional team deserves an A+. I am going to sign up with him for maintenance.
