We used Reed and Son to repair some damaged pipes in our basement. Shad/Nicholas were technicians that came to access the damage. They were fantastic. They were punctual, worked efficiently and expeditiously, professional, and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and explained step by step the work that they did. Reed & Son are the epitome of good service. Excellent in every way. My sump pump drain pipe was leaking badly, and I called them to see if they could get someone out to my house right away. From the time I hung up the phone to the time the technicians arrived was only a matter of about 15 minutes (full disclosure: they were just finishing a job only about a mile away...but I'm still impressed!). They quickly assessed the problem and got to work. Turns out that when they repowered my 30-year old, mineral-clogged pump it refused to come back on. So...new sump pump. But they had the job completed in just a little over an hour, and at a reasonable price. This is my first time using Reed and Son Services for minor plumbing work. More expensive than my previous plumber but the quality, timeliness and knowledgeable staff will make me a repeat customer. Butch arrived at the start of the estimated window and completed the work efficiently, describing throughout the process what he was doing. I was impressed with his courteous, professional manner.

With the recent frigid weather we had frozen pipes everywhere The country house is very old dating back to the late 1890's in terms of its age. The recent wether was brutal on the structure. We called Reed and Son as soon as we discovered the damage which took several days due to frozen snow all around. So the problem was very bad by the time we discovered it threatening our well. The well had to be replaced underground and some frozen pipes under the house repaired.The work required digging a long, deep trench from the well in the front yard to the back yard, replacing the underground lines and connecting them to the inside tank.
