Federal Paving Systems

We paved our side yard and driveway that leads to the yard and hired this company. When it stormed, we had a flood and as soon as it was possible for them to come look at it, they came, assessed the problem and immediately worked to install another drain, angled the sides towards the drain more and repaved the areas. A couple of weeks later, we had another huge storm and no more floods. Can't ask for better service than this. Highly recommend this company. They do beautiful work at a reasonable price.

I have known the owner of Federal Paving Systems for almost 20 years when they installed pavers for my next door neighbors and did a great job. I hired him to do my driveway and it seemed great also, but as soon as the first rains came I noticed that we had more water flowing down our driveway than we had before the driveway was installed. The water exceeded what the lateral drain could handle and eroded our front yard so badly that I had to put rocks to replace the soil. Federal Pavers looked at it but never had any suggestions. Just this year the street was re-paved and the drainage was worse. The City rep came out and showed me that the driveway was installed too low to begin with. Pros: The men working on my project were hard working and did a good job. Cons: When a few pavers became loose I contacted the company and left a message for Pete. Nothing but crickets. Called a few more times and no return call. I hired another paving company to address my concerns and will refer them over Federal Paving.

Go with someone else. Lots of other options. Put your money elsewhere. Spent a good amount of money with these guys. I was assured over and over that I would satisfied with their work because they're not like "other" companies and that if I wasn't, they'd fix it. We asked them to install artificial turf in a small area of the backyard (6' by 4') and they installed two different patches. There is a clear and distinct seam line that is visible. It looks hideous, especially on such a small footprint. I texted Pete multiple times across THREE months and each time he said someone would come out. They NEVER came out. Called and left voicemails. NEVER heard back from them. DON'T DO IT.

The representative who came to my home seemed like he was on drugs. I joked with him about having one to many coffees because he was so unfocused and all over the place flipping through all his sample books so quickly (claimed that they had done work for one of Stephen Curry's homes) that I could not garner any real information from the guy. He did slow down a bit after I brought this to his attention but it was just akward/uncomfortable and he also didn't want to give me any rough estimates until after I looked at product. Also he didn't want to write anything down for me, offer any design suggestions or send an email- just phone texting which I also found odd as its more difficult to stay organized with txt info rather than email info without having to take the extra step to convert the
