Floor Advisor

I have referred Bob to many clients in the past couple of years, and we used Floor Advisor to refinish our wood floors, change out carpet to wood, and replace old carpet in our home this fall. So this is like a dozen+ reviews! This company does a great job, and if on the off chance something is not quite right, Bob Amin is quick to make it right. I highly recommend.

This was our second job performed by Floor Advisors of Gainesville and once again they did an awesome job. This job was a staircase makeover that followed on the heels of the LVP flooring installed throughout the entire first floor. In addition to the workmanship, we were very impressed with how accurate the match was of the Stain that was mixed for us to the flooring that they installed several months prior. Just an awesome job all around and we would recommend Floor Advisor to anyone contemplating a flooring and staircase makeover in your home!

Wish I could share a great review with this company but I cannot. When they came to fix their mistake (after they told me it was correct, when clearly it was not) it does look better but is definitely not 100% great. Lots of gaps, unevenness, and many other discrepancies still there. So many excuses for poor work and no one taking responsibility. One room looks great no complaint but the other is definitely an eye sore. The gentleman that came back to fix their first job was nice and did what he could to make the situation right but he could only do some much. Just wanted to show people the process of what we had to go through and the work they will leave you with. Very sad that we spent the money we did for the work we received. Response to owner: Then why does it not look like that now?

Update: Feb 7th 2022 BLUF: I will recommend Floor Advisor to install LVP, yes for stairway makeover with some caveats. 1st Post: Thanks to Bob’s recent email dedicated time to write an initial portion of this review. When Bob first came to my property to assess the project, he advice it will take no less than two weeks. The other six vendors were promising two or three days. Bob was on point for the scale of my project that is information accurate as possible, one of the factors for selecting them. Be advice if you are doing floors on your entire home and stairways rebuild, it will take more than few days. The project began on January 4th and still going, a few communication and logistic hiccups but the issues have been resolved following conversation with proper staff. It is worth notin

Elated with the finished product of our hall bath! Bob Amin and his staff at Floor Advisor did an excellent job in planning and executing the remodeling project. Tile selection was arranged thru Dal Tile, who has an awesome designer to assist with selections. The entire demolition and rebuild was one week, except for the shower door install and painting. This is a great local company to deal with and are reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!
