Longtime customer and never disappointed. Easy to schedule an appointment and very friendly service. They verified what options I needed and the type of door lock replacement I preferred. Matt was right on time and confirmed everything before starting. He was very professional and replaced the broken builder grade door lock in short order with a quality product. Found myself locked out of my house on a freezing morning. Within minutes of calling Gene's, I was on the phone with Matt and had talked through the problem, and he was on his way. Within 15 minutes, he was at the front door and working. Matt's professionalism and knowledge were amazing. He was able to install a new lock and rekey some old ones. Matt also made himself available to answer my many questions about all of my doors and locks. All of this was completed quickly and at a very reasonable price. I feel more secure knowing I can call them for emergency services or any service. I am happy to support a local family-owned business.

I locked myself out of my car and Matt was here to help me out within 30 minutes and it only cost me $85. I have had other locksmiths in Frederick do the same work and charge me $250 cash only (sketchy right). This is a very reliable and trustworthy company, unlike other locksmiths in Frederick.

What was suggested over the phone happened, and Matt arrived on a holiday eve in holiday traffic with a hoiday rain shower in a very reasonable amount time. Everyone was kind, respectful and informative! I was able to come in the same day, and it only took about 15 mins to have my car key programmed and cut. The cost of my key was fair as well. Will definitely come back again if I need my keys replaced!
