Gervais contracting

Zach worked hard to get our surface level for the placement of a new shed. He was timely and had great communication skills. We appreciated his attention to detail and would recommend him to future customers.

Zack did an outstanding job leveling and spreading gravel in my new shop that was a mud floor. He answered my call right away. He gave me 3 options, all better prices than anyone in the area, and all options that set me up for success in the future if I wanted to lay concrete floor. He arrived with a contagious personality, high level of communication skills and right away could tell how experienced he was by his maneuvering of his equipment. He then proceeded to take care of other landscaping issues we had on the property free of charge. Zach is very nice but lies to make himself appear professional. MN Dept of Labor has said Gervais Contracting is not licensed and has recommended I contact the Polution Control Agency as there are real concerns of poison and contaminated soil having been used. I'm still picking debris from the unclean fill. Zach billed us fully in a contract for his time and materials and specifically reads clean fill. Nothing was free. Our fill was promised to be clean and was not. Filled with concrete, asphalt, iron pieces, bricks, plastic fragments, bottles, glass and a ton of rocks of all sizes. We wanted fill and regrading to grow lawn seed. The fill is hard and seed cannot pentrate to adequately germinate and grow. Had Zach from Gervais Contracting out to grade a spot for our above-ground pool. Despite some rain delays, Zach kept in constant communication throughout. On the day of the job, he gave me a heads-up on his arrival time and showed up right on schedule. He completed the grading efficiently and with great attention to detail. After the pool walls were up, I had a large amount of sand to move—Zach offered to come back with his Bobcat to help out and even stayed to assist with the pool setup. On top of that, the dump truck delivering the sand made a mark on my driveway, and without being asked, Zach re-graded the entire thing to make it right. Zach did my driveway with recycled class five and it looks beautiful. Zach was on time and very proficient at his job. He offered me solutions and told me to call if there are any problems, he stands behind his work. Very nice person! Thank you Zach!
