Dominic and Casey recently did our annual maintenance and they were excellent. Dominic took time to explain what was done and provide options to consider for any maintenance needed. As new owners we really appreciated his explaining our system, how best to use and maintain the system, and things we needed to know to operate the system. They were thorough and efficient. Gochnauer staff were very pleasant and helpful in promptly setting up our annual servicing appointment. And Dane and Dominic were especially helpful and patient in advising us on new WIFI thermostat options.

Gochnauer is just awesome - their communication, timeliness, work ethic, precision, efficiency, etc is outstanding. I just had a new HVAC system put in. The installers were polite and worked over two days to do the installation. Erik Decker did the quality control on my new HVAC system. He was very professional-checked everything and guided me through features on the thermostat.

I am writing this review for my aunt, Mary Jarosz, a long time Hilton Head resident. We had been using another company for many years at our main home, and decided to switch to Gochnauer, after the wonderful experience we had with them at our rental property. The past 3 years with them at our home has been absolutely amazing! The are beyond responsive, courteous and provide the most cost effective ways for all repairs. Last night after 5pm, we had an issue with our HVAC system not working, and made a call to the office. Not only did the after hours office assistant promptly return my call, the polite maintenance man came right over and fixed the problem within 30 min....on a Friday evening. Erik Decker is the best HVAC technician I've encountered since moving to Hilton Head 5 years ago. He's very knowledgeable and personable and very good to work with. He provides details on what the problem is and its solution, and got it fixed.

Gochnauer provided fantastic service for our HVAC system! The technician, Tim, called and said he was running ahead of schedule, so he was able to start about 30 minutes early. We required both maintenance and repairs since some of the mastic was degraded and we did not have a sediment trap on our heater (code changed after our house was built). All the work was done with exceptional quality and at a reasonable cost. Tim even stapled in the mastic where needed to avoid future premature degradation. I definitely recommend Gochnauer to anyone in the Low Country requiring HVAC service or repair!
