Gray’s Heating & Air Conditioning

Unfortunately, Gray's service was terrible, all because of failure to communicate. I live out-of-town and rent out my condo when I'm not there. The repairs made seemed to have been done well, as our AC unit is now working again, however, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Not only did I have to call repeatedly throughout the process to get any information (I had to wait several weeks for a warranty-covered part to come in), but the technician never called about a repair needed and went ahead and did the repair. Now, 2.5 months later, I got an invoice for over $600 and was never once told about the additional repairs, much less did the company gain my approval, and then am now expected to pay a large bill. Very satisfied with the service from Gray’s. We had a problem with our air conditioning unit and called Gray’s on a Friday at midday. A service tech was there within an hour. He helped get the old unit up and running to help us try to get through the weekend while we dealt with the office on a quote for a replacement unit. By 5:00 that evening we finalized a quote for a new unit and scheduled installation for the following Monday. The installation went off without a hitch. We are very impressed with the service and would highly recommend.

My story with Grays begins with my 80 year old mom. Not only is Gray’s HONEST, let me repeat that to anyone reading my review, HONEST! May I add friendly, timely, superb customer service. If I could give Gray's a lower rating, I would. After using this company for 13+ years, we needed a new unit. The management dropped the ball BIG time. The new manager was unresponsive, arrogant and rude. Finally, we sought our another vendor for the purchase and now ongoing maintenance.. What a shame that a great service provider was ruined by new ownership. I feel badly for the technicians who were always courteous, hard-working and responsive. My review a few years ago was 5 star: We have been using Grays since 2012 and have had consistent reliable, honest service with reasonable charges. They service our system twice a year and respond promptly when needed. No complaints. Recommend without reservation.

We highly recommend Gray's. They were very quick to schedule an appointment which was great as one of our units wasn't working. The service tech was extremely knowledgeable and fixed the problem. He explained what was wrong and was very courteous and respectful of our home.
