Poor Experience with Greco & Haines I never expected to write a review like this, but my experience with Greco & Haines was so chaotic and mishandled that speaking up feels necessary. What should have been a simple well repair spiraled into weeks of confusion, stress, and mounting frustration. Communication was consistently scattered and dismissive. I spent countless hours calling for updates that never came, and every visit from their technicians felt rushed causing and new headaches. What ultimately broke any trust I had was their refusal to take responsibility. We were having issues with our water quality, so I called G&H to test our water and inspect our system. I was not surprised to learn that we needed to replace the tank, filter and treatment system because of it's age. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how Dave took the time to show us exactly what was going on and why the system was failing. He was thorough, patient, and professional. Moreover, the quote he provided was substantially less than the quote for the same components provided by a competitor who couldn't be bothered to come to my house to see what's what; they e-mailed it to me sight unseen. New to the area. Read all of the 1, 2 star reviews on this company… overall 3.2 review. Was told 9am-1pm service call. No show/no call-finally showed up at 1:30pm. Had called the company 2 or 3 times-dispatch said “They’re on the way” Please thoroughly read the 1, 2 star reviews on GRECCO AND HAYNES before making a decision on an important infrastructure like a Water softener system. Finally called dispatch and canceled the service call/referenced all of the negative reviews as well as the lateness. Dispatchers’ response: “Ok then”-and hung up….. NO apology.

Never use them. To make matters worse, the staff was shockingly rude throughout the entire process. Every interaction felt like I was inconveniencing them just by asking basic questions about my own home. Calls were met with attitude, rushed explanations, and zero patience. Instead of professionalism, I got condescension — as if expecting clear communication or competent service was asking too much. The disrespect alone would have been enough to push me to another company, even without the sloppy work.

We've always had positive experiences with Greco & Haines and will definitely continue using them. Thank you especially to Bill for his skill, knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness, but other people have been fantastic as well.
