Greer OverHead Door

We had a terrible experience with this company. We ordered a garage door that had to be custom manufactured and were required to pay in full upfront. We paid July 21st. We were told production would take about three weeks, but installation didn’t happen until October 6th, more than twelve weeks later, and only after we threatened to dispute the charge with our credit card company. Throughout the process, communication was awful. The owner, Scott, was unprofessional and refused to take phone calls, insisting on texting instead. Despite repeated attempts to get updates, which we initiated, we were constantly given excuses and inconsistent information. I had Greer Overhead install my garage door about 3 years ago and it has been great. Recently the door unit had been acting up and not responding. I reached out and he came out make adjustments and a repair, no charge, and door works like new! Would definitely recommend this company!

Scott, with Greer Overhead Door was on time to the minute. They came in priced at way less than these other companies for a garage door spring. Also these other companies tried to sell me on other parts that "should be replaced" aswell.. I asked Scott when he showed up to replace my spring, if I should change these other parts that these other companies recommend. He said they look fine and there is no need to change them unless they are broken. These other companies just try to up sell you on other parts that are not broken or in need of replacement. %100 will recommend these folks to family and friends. No better company in the business.

This was the easiest service call you will ever make. My garage door was broken but good! Called Greer Overhead Door, they get a quick description of the problem and within 10 minutes, Scott called back,. He had me send a couple of photos to confirm the problem and was at my door later in the morning. Not only fixed the door but gave good advice for future maintenance. Easy to talk to, knows his stuff. Not trying to sell you anything you don’t need. Only 5 stars because they didn’t offer 10.
